Scorecard Tips to Avoid that Unwanted 'DQ'

1. Enter only gross scores for all events, the tournament scorekeeper will calculate the net scores. Write scores legibly and only provide the score on the hole, (do not include putts or any other stats).

2. Total the gross scores for the front nine, back nine and grand total. Failure to do so is a DQ. (Note: Addition mistakes are not a DQ, but failure to enter any totals is a DQ)

3. When a player does not show up to play, cross their name out on the card label. If the absent player is replaced by someone, write that person's full name on the scorecard, (their handicap is not required). Failure to properly identify a replacement player on the card and label is a DQ.

4. For individual events, enter scores for each player in the order that is provided on the card label. Use the player's last name, nicknames and first names should not be used.

5. For two man best ball events, group each team member on consecutive rows, with the other team separated by a row.

6. Enter accurate start and finish times for the round. The start time is defined as the time when the first player of the group hits their first shot of the day. The finish time is defined as when the last player of the group holes out on #18.
Inaccurate times are defined as a start or finish time that is less than 5 minutes later than the previous group's recorded time. Failure to enter accurate start and finish times may result in your group being
relegated to a late tee time the following week.

7. Review the scores with your group immediately after finishing the last hole. Sign the card and place it in the scorecard box before you go to the parking lot.
