Grand Prix Points Program

The Grand Prix Points (GPP) Championship is an official ASGA competition that starts with the last banquet/election event and ends with the last event before the next banquet/election event. Points are earned and prizes awarded in two categories: 2-Person Team and Individual All-IN. For all events you complete (Individual, 2-Person Team, 4-Person Team), you earn points that apply to the Individual All-IN competition. Two-Person Team points are earned from 2-Person Team events only.

Enrollment in the program is automatic and handicaps and different flights will not be a factor in determining the eventual champions. The Individual All-IN player and 2-Person Team with the most points at the end of the season will be declared the champions.

Flight Ranking Points are determined by the relative position of the team or individual in the flights of the event. For example, finishing first in a 10-entry flight would be 100 points (10/10 X 100), finishing last would be 10 points (1/10 X 100). Similarly, finishing first in a 4-entry flight would be 100 points (4/4 X 100), finishing last would be 25 points (1/4 X 100). Ties for position in a flight are averaged for the players/teams. All-IN points are adjusted for 50% and 25% of the calculated position point values for 2-Person and 4-Person events respectively. Withdrawals are ignored in determining Flight Ranking Points.
